FNP system
PIC SYSTEM APPLICABLE FOR REP (PWR French Fleet) AND EPR Jan. 31st, 2024 : First publication of the system. The bi-component products "EPODUX 292" and "EPODUX 294" are renamed "EPODUX 292 CM" and "EPODUX 294 CM" following addition of solvent (pre-dilution) at the factory to facilitate dilution of the products while limiting the quantities of solvent handled on site or in the workshop. This is not a reformulation by replacement of substance. FNP1170 system succeeds to the FNP1038 system, on the same codifications with the products of the "EPODUX 292 CM" and "EPODUX 294 CM" products and a new architecture. It should be noted that tests were also supported by EDF to argue the non-regression of the FNP1170 system. A multidisciplinary work group validated a new architecture for all the targeted codes. The implementation of this new architecture proves to be more suited to the civil engineering and equipment applications in all their diversity / complexity of geometry or configuration. The change in coating system architecture is displayed here in a new template induced by revision 9 of CCTR 91C031. In particular, some application requirements (tolerances surrounding nominal thicknesses, drying times, etc.) must be provided from abacus by the contractor or its representative carrying out the coating works because it depends on the targeted codification. The abacus are provided in the comment sheet following the TDS. FNP1170 TDS dated Jan 31st, 2024 also brings an extension of qualification scope to group 105 (up to the maximum temperature in continuous service of 200°C) and the applicability on stainless steel.
